How to Connect an Account to MetaTrader (MT4/MT5)
Once you create your account, our system will automatically send your credentials to the email associated with your account. This email will include:
Account Number for trading on MetaTrader.
Password for trading.
Investor Password for read-only access.
Server and Server Name for access.
To connect your account, follow these steps:
1. Download MetaTrader: We recommend downloading MT4 or MT5 from the "Resources" section of our platform. If you already have the application installed, you can skip this step.
2. Open the Application: Open the application and go to the "File" tab. Then select "Open an Account".
3. Select the Server: Depending on your account type:
If it’s a demo account, select the server: FxLiveCapital-Demo.
If it’s a real account, select the server: FxLiveCapital-Real.
4. Enter Credentials: Click on "Existing Account" and enter the credentials sent to your email. Then click "OK" or "Login".
Common Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
. Select the Correct Server: Make sure to select the correct server. If your account is demo and you select the real server, your account will not connect.
. Enter the Password Correctly: Enter the password exactly as it was sent. Any errors in the characters or additional spaces will prevent the account from connecting.
. Stable Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection to avoid connectivity issues.
What to Do If You Still Have Trouble Connecting Your Account
If you still experience difficulties connecting your account after following these steps:
. Review all the previous steps to ensure you have followed the instructions correctly.
. If the problem persists, send an email to support explaining your situation. Include a video showing the issue you are experiencing. This will help our support team identify and resolve any issues that may be occurring.
By following these steps and recommendations, you will be able to connect your account to MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) correctly and efficiently.
